30 minutes drive across the Gog Range to the north will take you to the 'mural town' of Sheffield, with Devonport and the north coast just beyond. Mole Creek is an ideal touring centre for the central north area of Tasmania and a comfortable base for adventures into the wilderness beyond.

Rainy day activities

This is Tasmania - it could be that you will experience some rainy days, but you'll find plenty to keep yourself amused - Rainy Day Activities around Mole Creek.

An easy drive from Launceston and Devonport

Why not make Mole Creek your first stop after arriving by ferry at Devonport or by air into Launceston; it's an easy drive of less than an hour from either and you will immediately find yourself in the heart of the scenic beauty for which Tasmania is renowned.

The scenic drive to Cradle Mountain

The drive from Mole Creek to Cradle Mountain is, quite simply, spectacular, and the Mt Round mountain top lookout will take your breath away.

This scenic drive should not be missed and, along the way, you will find Tasmazia, home to the world's largest maze and the Village of Lower Crackpot.
